A forward-thinking medium-sized Commercial Architectural Practice in Leeds City Centre, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, is seeking an ambitious Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. You'll be working in a modern, open-plan studio with excellent natural light and great views, supported by a flexible hybrid working policy that allows 2-3 days per week working from home.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Architectural Technologist with around 3-5 years' experience to join a business that genuinely values collaboration, innovation, and staff development. The Role - Architectural Technologist
As Architectural Technologist, you'll support senior team members in delivering high-quality architectural solutions across a variety of commercial sectors. You'll be involved in a range of tasks from early-stage design through to technical detailing and project delivery (RIBA Stages 1-6), with strong mentoring and guidance from more experienced colleagues.
This is a great opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to the success of exciting projects in sectors such as high-rise residential, retirement living, education, and public sector work (MOD, MOJ, DfE).
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years' experience in an architectural practice (commercial experience desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Proficiency in Revit software
- Good technical detailing and drawing skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative and mentoring environment
- CIAT membership or working toward it would be advantageous
- Interest in sustainable design, MMC, or low-carbon construction is a plus
