Job Title: Employment SolicitorSalary: £35,000 to £50,000 Location: Leeds Contract: Full Time, Permanent Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice to employees on matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, employment contracts, and settlement agreements.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including grievance letters, tribunal claims, and responses.
  • Handle ACAS early conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings from initial instruction through to hearing.
  • Negotiate settlements and manage ongoing communications with employers, ACAS, and legal representatives.
  • Advise and represent small business clients on a limited number of respondent matters, including disciplinary procedures and drafting policies.
  • Keep clients regularly updated on case progress and provide clear, empathetic legal guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in line with firm and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend networking events or local community initiatives to help grow the firm's employment law presence.
