My client, New Park Court Chambers, is a top-tier Band 1 Common Law set with a national reputation for legal excellence. With 82 members, including 16 King’s Counsel, and offices in Leeds and Newcastle, Chambers was recently named Chambers of the Year at the 2024 British Legal Awards and the 2025 Lexis Nexis Awards. They are also the UK’s first carbon-negative chambers and an active supporter of the 10,000 Black Interns initiative.
They are now seeking a strategic and driven Marketing & Business Development Manager to join their leadership team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the future of a leading set, reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of business development and marketing strategies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including organising and attending events
- Manage digital presence, directories, events, and campaigns
- Collaborate to encourage marketing and business development initiatives
- Strengthen client relationships across the legal and business community
- Monitor market trends, client feedback, and competitive positioning
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the legal or professional services sector
- Strategic thinker with strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
- Collaborative team player and self-starter
- Skilled in digital marketing and social media strategy
- Professional, commercially astute, and adaptable with a hands-on approach
