Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Conveyancer, your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing property transactions from start to finish in accordance with firm procedures
  • Liaising with clients, third parties, and legal colleagues to ensure smooth process progression
  • Providing administrative support to fee earners and partners
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents
  • Assisting with billing processes and ensuring timely payments, working closely with the Accounts team
  • Handling general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments and best practices
  • Contributing to a positive and efficient working environment
  • Supporting process improvements and assisting with any other ad-hoc tasks as required
What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • At least 6 months' experience in either commercial or residential property (with a preference for commercial property experience)
  • A genuine passion for client care and a desire to continue learning and developing professionally
  • The ability to manage tasks independently, whilst working as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A professional, client-focused approach to all interactions
  • Solid IT skills and the ability to prepare legal documents efficiently
