Location: Leeds Salary: c£35,000.00Hours: Monday to Thursday 4.00pm - 00.30am and Sunday 07.00 - 14.00Summary:This role requires an experienced warehouse team manager who has a desire to progress further and can ensure their people are engaged and perform to the highest of standards with excellent customer care in a high volume, FMCG environment. You will ensure a clear operational plan and drive a safety culture reduce costs and improve service levels as well as implement a culture of continuous improvement through lean working.Key Responsibilities:* Ensure the efficient operational running of the pick and pack operation* Drive a customer centric focus* Provide effective leadership and motivation to the staff* Lead best practice for safety* Ensure 121's, appraisals and absence management is completedExperience:* Managed a team of 40 + in a fast paced, customer focused environment* Continuous improvement mindset using lean techniques* Able to make recommendations for the improvement of processes and procedures* Strong people management skills* Knowledge of Manhattan WMS preferred
