Time Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading insurance brokerage to find a talented Motor Claims Handler to join their dynamic and thriving team in Leeds.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Claims Handler to manage a diverse caseload of motor claims, with occasional exposure to property and liability. The successful candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for delivering top-tier service, and a strong understanding of claims processes and systems.

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for processing claims efficiently, meeting SLAs and KPIs, maintaining a clear diary system, and liaising with clients, insurers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve queries. You will also handle complex claims with confidence and professionalism, produce detailed claims reports and management information, attend client meetings, and stay current with ongoing CPD and Acturis system use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage a diverse caseload of motor claims, with occasional exposure to property and liability
  • Ensure claims are processed efficiently, meeting SLAs and KPIs
  • Maintain a clear diary system to track progress and deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal teams to resolve queries and provide updates
  • Handle complex claims with confidence and professionalism
  • Produce detailed claims reports and management information (MI)
  • Attend client meetings and present updates when required
  • Stay sharp with ongoing CPD and Acturis system use
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in claims handling
  • Solid understanding of motor claims; property and liability experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident with claims systems and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
