Production Assistant: We’re recruiting on behalf of a creative and engineering-led business that designs, builds, and ships beautifully crafted products to customers around the world. With a focus on innovation, detail, and quality, they’ve into a thriving, eco-conscious brand with a loyal customer base. They’re now looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Production Assistant to join their warehouse and production team in Armley, Leeds. If you have experience of assembling and working with small parts—whether from jewellery making, model building, electronics, or similar—you’ll find this an exciting opportunity to join a business that values precision, teamwork, and craftsmanship. WHAT’S ON OFFER:
  • Salary between £26,000 and £28,000, depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am start, 37.5 hours per week
  • Option to condense hours for a 12pm Friday finish
  • Location – Armley, Leeds, LS12
  • Free onsite parking and close to main bus route from Armley Road

 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Accurately allocate and pack products for customer orders
  • Prepare orders for courier collection
  • Light assembly of products using small tools and components
  • Assist with product repairs and returns processing
  • Conduct quality checks and adhere to strict quality standards
  • Receive and log incoming deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc warehouse and production tasks
 ABOUT YOU (Skills & Experience): Essential:
  • Previous experience in small parts assembly, such as - jewellery making, electronics assembly, model making or crafts, watch or component assembly.
  • Experience working with metal parts and handling delicate components.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with care and accuracy.
  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Comfortable working at a consistent pace to meet deadlines.
  • Basic IT skills in MS Office / MS Excel
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of quality control processes
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse team
  • Previous experience of using an MRP or Project based software / systems
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues
  • Ability to troubleshoot and assist with basic repairs or adjustments
