Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve production processes in the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Develop and implement process strategies to enhance quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure health and safety regulations are met.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure that product specifications are met.
- Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives for change.
- Manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Document all processes for future reference and continuous improvement.
Profile
A successful Production Engineer should have:
- An academic background in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Production Engineering or CI focused role.
- Experience using 3D CAD.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong project management abilities.
- A knack for identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Any knowledge of digitisation or automation is an advantage.
