Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager

Days Monday to Friday 8am-430pm
Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for an Engineering / Maintenance Manager to join their an organisation which is in an exciting growth Stage.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Motivate and develop team members through regular 1-to-1s and objective setting.
- Staff Development and training
- Working alongside Engineering Project Manager and in some cases lead capex projects through to completion.
- CMMS Management:Deploy and develop the CMMS
- Maintenance Strategy:Develop and review maintenance strategies to maximise asset availability and reduce Mean Time Between Failure.
- Workload Management
- Compliance
- Responsible for management of the repairs and maintenance budget, you must implement cost-effective approaches to stock holding and parts usage.
- Champion industry best practices and promote the introduction of new technologies and processes.
- Develop and implement health & safety practices and documentation for engineering activities.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- NVQ Level 3 / HNC/ ONC/ HND / or equivalent
- Understanding and experience in contractor control processes.
- Budget management experience.
- Experience in building, managing and developing teams.
- FMCG background experience would be advantageous
