Site Manager

Ionic recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Site Manager on behalf of our client.

Introduction:
Our client, a respected and growing fit-out contractor, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in Leeds, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality office fit-out projects, with a particular focus on M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) elements. This role offers a salary of 50,000 per annum plus a company car, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site activities for office fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with specifications.

• Coordinate and monitor M&E works, maintaining strong communication with technical teams.

• Conduct regular site meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations.

• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

• Maintain accurate site records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects, with a strong M&E bias.

• Experience delivering office fit-outs is essential.

• SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications required.

• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.

• Strong client-facing ability and effective communication skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Based in or around Leeds, or willing to commute.
