Freelance Site Manager - Faade Experience
We are currently seeking a Freelance Site Manager with a strong background in faade systems and remedial construction works to oversee a 20-week external works package based in the Leeds region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-sufficient Site Manager looking to work with a reputable contractor on a live site, with potential for follow-on work across a strong pipeline of remedial and recladding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day site management and coordination of all faade and remedial works
Leading subcontractors across cladding, insulation, scaffolding, access systems, and finishing trades
Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety protocols and site-specific RAMS
Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to the Contracts Manager
Managing site logistics, deliveries, and permits in a live/occupied environment
Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
Quality assurance checks, managing snag lists, and overseeing final handover
Requirements:
Proven track record in managing faade or external remedial projects, ideally in residential or commercial sectors
Experience working with cladding systems, rainscreen faades, or similar building envelope packages
Strong knowledge of site coordination and managing multiple trades simultaneously
Valid CSCS (Black or Gold Card), SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications
Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles
Able to hit the ground running on fast-paced, live environments
