Our client, based in Leeds, are a family run business specialising in producing high-quality meat co-products.
They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their small engineering team to support the growth of the business.
Ideally, looking for a person with mechanical focus to complement existing team members, with a basic understanding of electrical installations.
Maintenance Engineer Job Overview
- Complete planned maintenance activities using the CMMS system
- Respond to urgent issues such as breakdowns
- Assist in the delivery of improvement projects
- Build and repair machinery
- Occasional travel to abattoirs
Maintenance Engineer Job Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Engineering or equivalent (Essential)
- Must be willing to work with animal products including pig, sheep, and cow (Essential)
- Electrical Installations Level 2 (Desirable)
- Boiler maintenance experience/qualifications (Desirable)
- Experience with CMMS (Desirable)
Maintenance Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Working Hours: 07:00 to 15:30 Monday - Friday.
- Salary: £35k-£40k - Depending on Experience
- Christmas and Annual bonus
- EOT bonus
