The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance and installation on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Yorkshire region. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field service background in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience on rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Gearboxes, Diesel Engines, Centrifuges, Reciprocating Engines, Instrumentation, Generators, Pumps, HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration, Valves or similar relatable to compressed air.

- Electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Yorkshire region.
- Commissioning and fault finding on compressed air systems - compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and ancillary equipment.
- Installation of compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
- Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Field based role covering the Yorkshire region and occasionaly surrounding areas.
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems. Full training provided.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar with compressed air or relatable fields.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Service experience in compressed air or electromechanical experience on rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Gearboxes, Diesel Engines, Centrifuges, Reciprocating Engines, Instrumentation, Generators, Pumps, HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration, Valves or similar.
- A technical engineering degree, FGas, 18th edition or apprentice trained would be advantageous
- Willingness to travel and cover the Yorkshire region and surrounding areas.
