Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, were enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

What will you be doing?
  • Youll apply fibre and networking knowledge to deliver project completion across customer sites, ensuring Health & Safety and quality standards are met.
  • Your duties will include end-to-end circuit testing, telecoms equipment installation, and commissioning.
  • Youll collaborate with project engineers to plan safe deployment and escalate incidents to H&S or Operations Managers as needed.
  • Responsibilities will also include fault analysis, site surveys, scheduled audits, and overseeing contractors under RAMS.
  • Youll complete training to maintain certifications, report on vehicle/tool/PPE condition, and support cross-department tasks.
  • Acting as Principal Contractor and Competent Person, you'll also recommend improvements and cost savings where possible.

What youll bring
Youll bring problem-solving skills and apply LAN/WAN internetworking knowledge (e.g., Ethernet cabling and pre-staged devices). Tasks include installation, glanding, termination, and testing of SWA power cables, Cat5/Cat6, Belden, fibre optic, and copper cabling. Youll install and commission racks, chargers, and telecom equipment, support PDH/SDH systems (Alcatel, Avara, Nokia, etc.), and configure routers, switches, and muxes. Youll work on FOX, Ericsson, Eltek, ADVA, and cooling systems, perform telecom testing, fault finding, and deliver excellent communication and customer service.
