Sonic Summary
- Kinetic Recruitment is seeking experienced Fitters for a long-term contract at National Grid substations in Yorkshire, running from June 2025 to December 2026.
- The role offers an attractive hourly rate of approximately £34 per hour.
- Candidates must possess a valid ECS or CSCS card and National Grid Persons certification, along with proven experience as a Fitter, preferably in the substation, industrial, or energy sectors.
- Applicants should also have Northern Powergrid codes/authorisations up to 132kV and a strong understanding of health and safety standards.

Fitter Responsibilities:
Installing AIS switchgear including all ancillaries such as earthing, installing appropriate structures etc
Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
Collaborating with site managers, engineers, and other trades
Fitter Requirements:
Valid ECS or CSCS card (essential)
National Grid Persons certification (essential)
Proven experience as a Fitter, ideally within substation, industrial, or energy sector projects
Northern Powergrid codes/ authorisations up to 132kV
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of health and safety standards
Flexibility to travel and work away when required
