Our Client is a highly regarded private day nursery in East Leeds, seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their team and take the lead in our Preschool Room. This is a unique opportunity to run your classroom like your own mini school, while being fully supported by a warm, experienced team and a well-resourced setting.

About the Role:
  • Take the lead in our Preschool Room, working with children aged 3-5 years

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging, child-centred learning activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum

  • Provide a stimulating and safe environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for learning

  • Use your creativity to build inspiring learning zones and rich continuous provision

  • Track children's development, complete observations, and maintain excellent parent partnerships

  • Be a key part of school readiness and transitions

?? We're looking for someone who is:
  • Level 6 qualified or holds EYTS / QTS (Newly Qualified Teachers welcome!)

  • Passionate about child development and early education

  • Confident in planning and delivering EYFS-based lessons

  • Able to manage a room with ownership, leadership, and flair

  • A great communicator with both children and families

  • Flexible, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running
