Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Our client is a leading UK company specialising in the recovery and sale of precious metals sourced from secondary materials. They are known for their expertise, innovation, and commitment to environmental responsibility.
About the Role:
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role within a dynamic production environment. You'll play a key part in the processing of incoming materials and preparing refined metals for analysis and dispatch to clients. Full training will be provided, including on specialist equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate mechanical shears and other machinery to deconstruct waste catalytic converters (no prior experience required - full training provided)
Manually handle, sort, and move materials as well as operate a forklift truck (FLT)
Maintain accurate records of materials processed on a daily and weekly basis
Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
Achieve and maintain daily production targets
Assist with the identification, sorting, and storage of stock
Keep all working areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Contribute to various aspects of operations as needed, supporting the company's continued growth
Maintain high environmental standards and support sustainability practices
Requirements:
A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
A proactive and reliable attitude
Forklift truck licence is desirable, but not essential - training can be provided
