Sacco Mann are recruiting for a top national law firm to join their successful Risk & Compliance team in their Leeds offices. Our client is one of the UK's leading law practices and offer services to both the commercial and private clients across a wide range of areas.

The Role

You will be working under the Risk & Compliance director in a varied role, identifying, and assessing risks across the firms' operations, assisting to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure that the firm complies with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering risk and compliance questions.
  • Drafting policies and procedures with clear and accurate drafting.
  • Preparing and presenting training on SRA regulatory issues.
  • Conducting file reviews.
  • Analysing compliance data.

About You

  • Previous Risk & Compliance Manager experience including having worked in a SRA regulated firm.
  • Good knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work to your own initiative.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritise and deliver work to a consistently high standard and to deadlines.
