Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher with a passion for Key Stage 2 learning? NextGen Teachers are seeking a motivated and caring Year 5 Teacher to join an excellent school in Leeds. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be in charge of preparing students to enter their last primary school year and therefore have a strong knowledge of SATS preparations. You will need a supportive a nurturing nature and have the ability to work well as part of a team of hard working staff.

The Role:

We are looking for a creative and committed teacher who:

  • Has Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching in KS2
  • Can plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Has strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and learning
  • Is committed to fostering a love of learning and developing pupils' confidence and independence
  • Works well as part of a team and is willing to contribute to wider school life
  • Has the right to work in the UK
  • Has an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Can provide two references
