Ready to make a real difference in the lives of children?About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant's to join Randstad in providing supply support for Primary Schools in the LS9 area of Leeds. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality educational support. Experience working in a UK primary school is essential. While an understanding of the Little Wandle phonics scheme is desirable. We are looking for someone with a flexible and adaptable approach, who can support students of all abilities and learning styles.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
  • Providing individual and group support to children.
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation.
  • Contributing to a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with the teaching team and other support staff.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers.
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Understanding of the Little Wandle phonics scheme.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Relevant qualifications or training.
