As a Supply Primary Teaching Assistant, you'll be an invaluable asset to our schools, providing crucial support to teachers and pupils across all primary key stages. What We're Looking For
  • Prior experience working within UK primary schools is highly desirable.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings and year groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting classroom activities.
  • Understanding of classroom dynamics and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are a bonus, but strong experience will also be considered.
Your Responsibilities May Include
  • Providing in-class support to individuals or small groups of pupils.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Preparing learning resources and maintaining a tidy classroom environment.
  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where appropriate.
  • Listening to children read and helping with literacy and numeracy activities.
  • Supervising children during break times and lunchtimes.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement.
