Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an expanding manufacturing business who are looking for a driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team and play an integral role in advancing the capabilities of the quality department. This position primarily involves looking after the QMS for both facilities, leading all internal audits and supporting the closing out of non-conformances, customer complaints while developing and improving the current system. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct internal audits; manage closeout of non-conformances and improvement actions across all departments and both facilities.
- Schedule and conduct external audits; manage closeout of non-conformances and improvement actions across all departments and both facilities.
- Lead AS9100 audits; prepare and organize documents, evidence, and audit schedules for all departments.
- Manage customer specification approvals and SOTS releases for all components (WY facility only).
- Maintain and update Quality Assurance procedures across all departments to reflect current processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Review and improve departmental PEARS, COTO, Risk Matrices, and Process Maps for both facilities to ensure they are effective and drive key improvements.
- Maintain and update the Company Quality Manual.
- Manage and report on customer audit corrective actions, internal corrective actions, escape issues, and process improvement actions across both facilities.
- Develop a more robust management review process focused on core QMS processes, their effectiveness, and necessary improvements.
- Attend and support monthly staff meetings, quality improvement projects, and risk mitigation activities.
- Lead and strengthen the 4-blocker process, ensuring effective root cause analysis, corrective actions, and improvements to QMS effectiveness.

- A degree (2.1 or above) or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Previous experience of working in highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of AS9100 is advantageous but not essential
