In this role, the Product Manager will be responsible for conducting market research, understanding customer needs and buying behaviours to evaluate product offerings and make strategic decisions to enhance company wide sales and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Product Manager role, or in a similar position analysing market trends and focusing on the commercial performance of product, such as Merchandiser, Category Manager, Portfolio Manager etc. You will also have a good understanding of electrical and / or renewable products and their applications.

The Role:

  • Manage a portfolio of products to enhance sales and profitability
  • Carry out market research to identify opportunities for new product introductions
  • Create strategies and present business case to wider company
  • Research and analyse market changes and competitor activities to realign strategies and retain advantage
  • Oversee the end of life cycle of products


The Person:

  • Proven background as a Product Manager, Merchandiser, Category Manager or a position with similar responsibilities
  • Experience and knowledge of working with electrical and / or renewable products
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse market activity
  • Technical understanding of product applications
