We are looking for a M&E Project Manager (can be mechanically or electrically biased of origin) on behalf of our client, a Tier 1 M&E Contractor, to work on new build and refurb. projects in the Yorkshire/N.East region.

Based from their Leeds Office, the initial project is a residential scheme in Leeds centre. Our client does cover all sectors so the next project may be a school, MoD, etc. so any experience in this sector is desirable.

The job role is to oversee all aspects of the MEP Project including key Client contact, design, procurement, precommencement, delivery onsite, leading quality and HS&E matters, overseeing the setting to work of specialist and directly employed operatives, ensuring the correct weekly implementation of cost plan/bonus scheme, progress monitoring/planning/reporting, leading the services commissioning and ultimately delivering a successful project handover.

Requirements

Residential/Living project experience and proven Project Management background

  • Management and delivery of Client expectations
  • Project reporting
  • Management of directly employed resources including cost plan/bonus schemes
  • Understanding of commercial practices and ordering of materials
  • Delivery of projects with complex/sectional programmes
  • Management of specialist subcontract packages
  • CSCS card (Project Manager)
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Good computer skills
  • Motivated, driven and able to manage own time
  • Good communication skills & ability to manage teams
