We’re currently looking to appoint a Psychology Graduate t to work in a Primary School in East Leeds. This is a long term, full time position with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. Ideally the successful person will be able to start as soon as possible, however we also have vacancies that will commence in September.

The successful Psychology Graduate will be supporting with key pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2 on a 1:1 basis, as well as providing general classroom support and delivering interventions. The school have a dedicated senior leadership team who are passionate about supporting and developing their staff team.

The children you would be supporting on a 1:1 basis have special educational needs such as;

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Global Development Delay
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health
  • Non-verbal
  • Speech and Language difficulties
  • PMLD
  • Medical needs such as; Epilepsy, Diabetes, Cerebral Palsy etc
  • Challenging behaviours

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A recent Psychology degree
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
  • Have a patient and nurturing approach in the classroom
