We are recruiting for a Lead Pensions Administrator to join a well-established, dynamic business based in Leeds City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the pensions and payroll team while enjoying flexible hybrid working (typically 2 days per week in the office).
Description
Pensions Lead - The Role:
Oversee and manage all aspects of pensions administration and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including manual calculations (critical for complex cases such as back-pay, deductions, or adjustments).
Act as the subject matter expert on pensions and payroll queries, providing advice and support to employees and senior management.
Review and manage pension scheme administration, ensuring accurate contributions, reconciliations, and reporting.
Support, coach, and oversee a small team, offering leadership and guidance to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Liaise with external providers, HMRC, and other stakeholders as required.
Drive improvements and efficiencies across payroll and pensions processes.
Profile
Pensions Lead - What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll, including manual calculations (essential).
Solid understanding of pensions administration processes and compliance.
Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Experience in mentoring or overseeing team members, with a collaborative leadership style.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to wider HR and finance initiatives.
Strong working knowledge of payroll and pensions systems and Microsoft Office.
Job Offer
