Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Buyer on a permanent basis located in the Leeds area.
As a crucial member of the buying team, you will take on the role of delivering a comprehensive buying function for the Group. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Adhering to buying processes, policies, and company policies
- Work with site teams to ensure materials are delivered on time
- Coordinate with the commercial team in respects to material costs and lead times
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, always negotiating the most competitive rates
- Maintain all procurement systems
- Additional duties assigned by your manager
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Construction Buyer
- Ambitious and pro-active
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent excel skills & other Microsoft office applications
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
