We are seeking an experienced Procurement Support Officer who is skilled in managing procurement activities in the public sector, specifically within the NHS environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

We are working with an award winning NHS Organisation seeking to recruit a Band 6 Procurement Officer. This requires a commitment to working from the office twice per month and the office locations are flexible to Sheffield, Leeds, York or Hull.
Description
- Manage procurement activities and ensure compliance with UK public procurement legislation and NHS England policies and procedures.
- Have a strong customer focus, commercial acumen, and a pro-active approach
- Be well organised with an efficient approach to management of a varied-day to-day workload
- Support Category teams with contract and supplier management activity across a range of category areas.
- Build excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
Profile
- A thorough understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Experience working within the NHS or public sector environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline
Job Offer
