An established and respected multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Leeds office. This is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor who already has solid industry experience and is now looking to take the next step in their professional development.

The Graduate Quantity Surveyor

The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will join a supportive team delivering a range of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, and education. This role is best suited to a candidate with a strong academic background and hands-on experience, such as a year in industry or a placement in a consultancy environment.

The consultancy provides full APC support, and the Graduate Quantity Surveyor position offers a clear route to chartership, with mentoring from experienced MRICS professionals and early exposure to client-facing responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with cost planning, tender documentation, and contract administration
  • Supporting the delivery of projects from feasibility through to final account
  • Attending site visits, contractor meetings, and client briefings
  • Producing reports and assisting in valuations and cost reporting
  • Working closely with senior surveyors to learn and grow within the role

Requirements:

  • BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related subject (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Previous experience in a UK consultancy, either through a placement, internship, or post-grad role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to achieve MRICS status
  • Organised, proactive and driven to succeed
