As the Head of Estimating and Cost Planning, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring our team to achieve excellence. You will be responsible for managing all estimating and cost planning activities, collaborating closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results and ensure their projects are completed on budget, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of estimating and cost planning strategies for our clients' projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
- Ensure the preparation and delivery of accurate, reliable cost models and financial forecasts.
- Drive innovation in cost consultancy practices, optimising processes and outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the estimating and cost planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry forums, and networking events to enhance our reputation and visibility.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in estimating and cost planning within the UK infrastructure sector.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality services across a range of complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on development and collaboration.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
