An established UK civil engineering and groundworks specialist is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong and growing project pipeline across civil engineering, groundworks and reinforced concrete works.

This is a well-rounded Quantity Surveyor role offering exposure to technically interesting projects, a supportive commercial team, and long-term stability within a business known for repeat clients and consistent delivery.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role suits a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being involved, trusted, and supported rather than micromanaged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of civil engineering and groundworks projects

  • Preparation and management of budgets and cost plans

  • Valuations, variations and change control

  • Subcontractor procurement and account management

  • Cost reporting and forecasting

  • Supporting project teams with commercial advice
