Quantity Surveyor - Fire Protection, Faade & Cladding
Role Overview
A leading specialist contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing and upcoming works across fire protection, faade, and cladding packages. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for specialist packages
- Prepare and manage interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Negotiate subcontractor agreements and manage procurement processes
- Ensure compliance with contract terms (JCT/NEC)
- Liaise with site teams, clients, and suppliers to maintain commercial control
- Provide regular cost reports and risk assessments to senior management
Your Experience
- Some experience in Quantity Surveying within fire protection, cladding, or faade sectors, shopfitting, retail or FM would be beneficial
- An understanding of JCT and NEC contract frameworks
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or currently studying towards
