Quantity Surveyor | Leeds Based (Travel to site required) | Full Time | Office hours are 8 am-5 pm Monday–Friday | £45,000.00 - £55,000.00 per year + Company vehicle / Car allowance + Fuel Card + Annual bonus

Our client is a nationwide construction main contractor operating across the UK, with their head office in Leeds. They work across a variety of contracts in multiple sectors, with project values ranging from £0.5 million to £15 million.

They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be supported by a full team committed to your development and progression. Ultimately, you will be responsible for managing 2-3 projects at a time, depending on project size. You will undertake all commercial and contractual requirements, ensuring sound financial performance and preparation of accurate and detailed monthly cost reports.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum of 5 years QS experience would be beneficial
  • Commercial construction background
  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • A good working knowledge and application of Main and sub-contract accounts

  • Main contract Final Account settlement
  • Cost forecasting
  • Legal and contractual compliance
  • Negotiation of main and subcontract costs
  • Subcontract variation and change management
  • Subcontract final account settlement
  • Holding pre-let meetings and producing minutes
  • CVR reporting
