Senior Quantity Surveyor
Leeds | £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
Our client, an established main contractor based in West Yorkshire, is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their expanding team. Operating nationally across the residential and commercial sectors, they deliver both new build and refurbishment projects .
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on large-scale new build developments, working alongside an experienced senior team and benefitting from clear career progression.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of 1-2 live projects at a time
- Oversee new build and refurbishment schemes and other large-scale projects from start to finish
- Prepare valuations, forecasts, reconciliations, and cost reports
- Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
- Maintain strong financial control and ensure profitable project outcomes
- Work closely with the Commercial Director, providing regular reporting
Candidate Requirements
- Solid background as a Quantity Surveyor in residential and/or commercial construction
- Experience working on commercial and residential projects
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
- Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
