Location: Leeds
Rate: £450 - £500/day - IR35 to be determined
Duration: 6 months
Our client is an industry-leading civil engineering contractor and due to exceptional growth, they are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Leeds.
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial leadership on rail renewal schemes on a Network Rail framework. Nature of these projects includes earthworks, bridge renewals, viaducts and platform extensions valued between £2-5million.
 Your day-to-day will include managing all commercial aspects of your projects and providing mentorship to junior members of the team.
Requirements:
- Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent
- Experience working for a contractor (preferably Tier 1) on Network Rail civils projects/frameworks such as earthworks, bridge renewals, and platform extensions
- Excellent understanding NEC3 & NEC4 contracts is essential, FIDIC desired
- IT skills: Word, Excel, COINS , ASite , CEMAR, PowerPoint
