An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer or Executive to join a busy and well-regarded legal practice based in West Yorkshire. This position offers the chance to manage your own caseload within a supportive and professional team, in a firm that values client service and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will be confident handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction through to post-completion, with minimal supervision. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional seeking long-term development within a stable and reputable business.

General Duties of Residential Property Conveyancer / Executive:
  • Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and remortgages.

  • Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process from client instruction to completion and archiving.

  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.

  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and third parties throughout the transaction.

  • Provide accurate legal advice in a professional and client-friendly manner.

  • Prepare final accounts, manage billing, and oversee financial transactions on files.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Support colleagues with supervisory tasks when required and contribute to team goals.

General Requirements of Residential Property Conveyancer / Executive:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload (essential).

  • Strong knowledge of both freehold and leasehold property transactions.

  • Excellent client care and communication skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Proficient with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
