Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a growing company in Leeds who are recruiting a Purchase Ledger to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of purchase ledgers, reporting into a Finance Manager. This is a full-time and permanent position.

Duties:

  • Process supplier invoices
  • Run and manage payments
  • Handle supplier queries
  • Manage intercompany charges
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Update and reconcile cost trackers
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end closing
  • Assist with audits
  • Help with filing, post, and forwarding queries

Skills required

  • Purchase ledger experience
  • Good attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • High-volume transactions experience
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, outlook, word and excel
  • Experience of using Sage Intacct (desirable)
