Description
- Processing invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Managing both the sales and purchase ledgers.
- Resolving any discrepancies in invoices and payments.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Communicating with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.
- Complying with all company policies and regulations.
Profile
A successful Sales and Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with both sales and purchase ledgers.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software and databases.
