Reed Education, in partnership with our Leeds based Secondary School client, is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their thriving English Department from September 2025. About the Role: As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature and language.
- Plan, prepare, and teach engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and improve student outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider school community and support extracurricular activities.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary level is desirable but not essential for exceptional candidates.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working in a team-oriented environment.
