Salary: £165–£210 per day dependent on experience

Leader Education are looking for an English Teacher to work in a fantastic Secondary School in the Leeds area. You will be required to teach GCSE, BTEC and A-Level English on a full-time basis.

This is a full-time role so it will include marking, planning and assessing as well as attending staff and parent’s evenings. You will be responsible for ensuring students are taught to the standards of the national curriculum for English and are well-prepared for their GCSE exams and coursework.

You will work with a range of ability groups, so you should be confident in adapting your teaching style to meet diverse learning needs. This role starts immediately.

 

Role Requirements:

This role requires you to have a Teaching Qualification alongside QTS. ECTs will be considered for this role as long as you have a strong background in English. You will specialise in English Language and Literature and be capable of teaching up to A-Level.

Above all, you will be passionate about inspiring a love of reading, writing and critical thinking in your students, and helping them achieve their full potential.
