Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and capable PE teacher one of our diverse secondary schools in the South Leeds Area. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of an evolving team who are looking for someone to share their knowledge and enhance student's physical abilities. This PE teacher role will be a long term position starting from September 2025.

Roles and responsibilities of being a PE teacher:

  • Have previous experience teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of the curriculum.
  • Inspire the next generation by displaying a passion for sports and fitness.
  • Supporting and encouraging children of all physical abilities.
  • Organising and planning proactive and engaging lessons.
  • Collaborating with other members of the team and sharing ideas.

Essential requirements for the PE teacher role:

  • Must have valid right to work in the UK
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A relevant qualification related to PE
  • Strong Behaviour Management Skills
