• Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Salary Range: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Experience using educational technology in the classroom
• Willingness to support extracurricular activities such as reading clubs or theatre trips
• A growth mindset and reflective approach to teaching
• A team-player attitude and desire to contribute to wider school life
• Creative lesson planning with a flair for making literature and language come alive

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Adapt teaching strategies to support and challenge learners of all abilities
• Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature exams
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback
• Contribute to curriculum design and departmental initiatives
• Foster a classroom culture of respect, curiosity, and academic excellence
