Food Technology Teacher Required for Secondary School in Bradford (LS14)

Are you a qualified Design & Technology teacher, specialising in Food Technology? Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, this opportunity could be the ideal next step for you.

This role is working within a high-performing multi-academy Trust school within Leeds (LS14), with a job start from mid September ideally but the school are happy to wait for the right candidate. There is also opportunities for a TLR position for the right candidate, which will be discussed at interview.

About the role

The successful applicant will be joining a welcoming department, set on ensuring all students make progress and instill a love for design and technology. You will be working collaboratively with students to deliver outstanding theory and practical lessons.

This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification (NQTs will be considered for this role)
  • Confident teaching Design & Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to a range of abilities
  • A passion for your subject and education in general
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments
  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
