About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary setting in Leeds this September on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.. The role involves planning, teaching, assessing and contributing to the wider department, ensuring students are challenged, supported and inspired in equal measure.

Essential Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong understanding of the UK Maths curriculum.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Confident use of data to inform planning and interventions.
- Creative and innovative lesson planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High expectations of all students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide effective feedback.
- Set challenging yet achievable targets for students.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in developing mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in departmental planning and curriculum development.
- Provide additional support for underachieving students.
- Support students in preparation for GCSE exams.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments.
- Contribute to after-school interventions or enrichment sessions.
