The RoleWe are recruiting a full-time Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Leeds from September. You will play a key role in inspiring students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Essential Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge across all science disciplines.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to mixed-ability groups.
- Create engaging and differentiated learning materials.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policy.
- Monitor student achievement and use data to inform planning.
- Promote scientific literacy and curiosity among students.
- Participate in school-wide events and enrichment activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of SEND and EAL students.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive lab environment, following all health and safety protocols.
