Paint Shop Assistant

Working Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week

£25,480 Per Annum

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vehicle Preparation Paint Shop Assistant to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that all company units are expertly prepared for painting, adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean the exterior of vehicles prior to preparation work.
  • Fill, sand, and prepare vehicle bodywork to company standards.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets required specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of paint and preparation materials in coordination with the Depot Manager.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations in accordance with company policy.
  • Adhere to the companys Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Depot Manager.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a similar preparation or Bodyshop role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent time management, punctuality, and attendance record.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of delivering excellent service.
