Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Autism Support: Specifically supporting non-verbal children with Autism

  • 1:1 Support: Providing tailored, individual support to students

  • Communication Tools: Knowledge and experience with PECs (Picture Exchange Communication System), BSL (British Sign Language), and Makaton

  • Behaviour Management: De-escalation techniques and strong behaviour management skills

  • Nurturing Approach: Setting clear boundaries, offering positive reinforcement, and providing a caring, supportive environment
