We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Learning Support Assistant (GLSA) to join our welcoming primary school in Leeds from January 2026. About the Role:

Full-time role supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience).

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to deliver tailored learning support and interventions.

Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Support pupils social, emotional, and academic development.

About You:

SEND experience is essential, with a good understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs.

A genuine enthusiasm and love for working with children, you bring warmth, energy, and positivity to everything you do.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a caring and proactive attitude.

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
