Senior Mental Health Support Worker (Days)
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Hours: 36 hours/week (11-hour shifts, 3-4 days incl. alternate weekends & sleep-ins)
Salary: 25,927.20/year (13.85/hr) + overtime (15.35/hr), 55/sleep-in, 35/week on-call

The Service: Our 10-bed residential rehabilitation service, supporting adults with mental health needs on their journey to independent living.

Modern supported living with 24/7 care across 11 two-bed flats. Residents typically stay 18-24 months, offering rewarding opportunities to support real progress
We offer 24 hours a day support ranging from building independent living skills to offering reassurance and a friendly chat. Our recovery-focused, person-centred approach means you'll play a key role in empowering individuals to achieve their goals

What You'll Do:

  • Support residents with daily tasks and personal goals
  • Lead and mentor junior staff
  • Ensure high-quality, recovery-focused care
  • Administer medication and maintain care records
  • Act as unit lead in the absence of management

What We're Looking For:

  • Mental health care experience
  • Strong understanding of care plans and risk assessments
  • Leadership and communication skills
