Lead Java Engineer - Leeds - SC clearance / SC eligible - immediate start available
I am working with a well-known consultancy who are looking for an experienced Lead Software Developer to join their team and support their client in Leeds. Due to the urgency of the role and the nature of the client, candidates with active SC clearance would be preferred although they will consider candidates who are eligible to pass SC clearance.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have
- Full development life cycle experience with excellent skills in Java, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in technical leadership and development tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and database applications (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience of building automated test suites for continuous deployment environments.
- Solid understanding of RESTful services, APIs and Microservice Architectures.
Flexibility to consider other UK base locations will be considered.
